Add the material you are actually studying and define what you need to remember. Repeto proposes cards in that deck's format: vocabulary from a language article, definitions from a biology PDF, or focused questions from a lecture transcript.
Tell each deck what a useful card looks like.
A vocabulary card, physics definition, and history question need different fields. Each deck carries its own instructions, so the same input can produce a different draft. You decide what to edit, keep, or delete before review.
Four ratings. A schedule shaped by your reviews.
Try the answer, reveal the card, then choose Again · Hard · Good · Easy. FSRS uses that review history to estimate the card's current memory state and choose its next interval. The estimate improves as you complete more real reviews.
Cards surface as they come due, so a session is five spare minutes wherever you are — never an evening you have to plan.
