Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and the Repeto team, which operates Repeto (“the service”). By creating an account or using Repeto you accept them.

The service

Repeto is an AI flashcard app with FSRS spaced repetition, available as a web app at repeto.ai and as an iOS app. It writes flashcards from terms and material you provide, schedules your reviews, syncs across devices, and imports and exports Anki .apkg files.

Your account

You sign in with your email address (passwordless) or, on iOS, with Sign in with Apple. On iOS you can also use Repeto without registering at all: the app creates an anonymous device account. Adding an email later links that same account, keeping your decks and history. Until you do, the account exists only through that device — if you lose access to the device, we may not be able to recover the data, so link an email before switching phones.

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use Repeto, and you’re responsible for activity under your account.

Acceptable use

Don’t abuse the service: no attempts to break authentication, circumvent rate or plan limits, or disrupt the service; no scraping or bulk-downloading other users’ content; no using card generation to produce illegal content; and no reselling access.

Your content

Decks, notes, cards, and anything you import remain yours. You grant us the limited license needed to operate the service: to store, process, sync, and display that content to you — including sending the material you submit for generation to third-party AI providers to produce your cards. Only import content you have the right to use.

Generated flashcards can contain mistakes. Review important material before relying on it — Repeto is a study tool, not a source of professional advice.

Marketplace

You can publish decks to the marketplace, where they are public and free. By publishing a deck you grant us the right to host and distribute it there, and you grant every Repeto user a non-exclusive license to save, study, and adapt it within Repeto. Only publish content you have the right to share.

Published content is moderated on report: anyone can report a deck for copyright infringement, spam, or inappropriate material by emailing support@repeto.ai, and we take down content that violates these terms. Repeat violations can cost you publishing rights or your account.

Subscriptions and billing

Repeto has a free plan with usage limits and a paid subscription that lifts them; current plans and allowances are shown on the pricing section of repeto.ai.

• Web purchases are processed by Polar. Manage or cancel them from the billing settings in the web app.
• iOS purchases are Apple in-app purchases, processed by the App Store. Manage or cancel them in your Apple ID subscription settings.

We never see your full payment details. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; cancelling stops the next renewal and your access continues until the end of the period you paid for, after which your account moves to the free plan — your cards and review history stay intact. Prices may change; for an active subscription a change applies no earlier than your next renewal, and we’ll notify you first. Refunds for App Store purchases follow Apple’s refund process; for web purchases email us — statutory refund rights, where they apply, are unaffected.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is” — we don’t promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and you can export your data at any time precisely so you never depend on us. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Termination

You can stop using Repeto or delete your account at any time; account deletion permanently erases your data from our servers. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. We’ll update the date above when we do, and flag material changes in the app or by email where possible. Continuing to use Repeto after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

Repeto is operated by the Repeto team. These terms are governed by the law of the operator’s place of establishment, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections of the country you live in.
