Learn from a PDF
Choose unique vocabulary or create study cards from a document.
A PDF can become a vocabulary list or a set of study questions. Choose which result you want before generating.
Open your document
In Apple Books or Files, open the PDF’s Share menu and choose Repeto. Then open Repeto and go to Generate.
- Choose the PDF under Shared PDFs. Shared files are kept locally until you process or remove them.
- On the web, open app.repeto.ai/capture and choose a PDF. You can also use the Repeto browser extension.
Choose vocabulary
Repeto extracts selectable text on your device, combines repeated words, and lets you choose what to learn. No page references are added.
- Open Unique vocabulary and review the list. Common English function words are filtered from document vocabulary.
- Choose a vocabulary deck, select up to 20 words, and create the cards.
Create study questions
Study cards use the document as source material. This requires Repeto Pro.
- Choose a deck and select Create study cards. This uploads the document for processing and uses your generation allowance.
- Follow the import’s progress, then review the resulting questions and answers in your deck. Edit or remove anything you do not want to study.
